During my time at Läderach Chocolatier Suisse, I had the opportunity to create a French-language print and digital page ad for Horizons: The Swiss Research Magazine. The objective was to authentically express the essence of Swiss craftsmanship and invite North American audiences to experience the brand’s signature “fresh chocolate” — a product line central to Läderach’s global identity. The concept balanced Swiss luxury minimalism with warm sensory appeal, capturing the artisanal precision behind the brand’s chocolate and the joy of discovery it delivers in every piece.
Project
The creative challenge was to design a visual that spoke simultaneously to French-speaking consumers and North American luxury markets, while staying true to Läderach’s heritage.
Most chocolate ads rely heavily on indulgence tropes — rich tones, close-ups, and cliché elegance — but Läderach’s tone demanded refinement, trust, and authenticity.
The goal was to communicate:
The freshness and craftsmanship unique to Swiss chocolate making,
A premium yet accessible invitation for discovery, and
A clean, bilingual composition aligned with Läderach’s global brand standards.
